With The Russian meddling investigation and all out effort by Dems to tie Trump to Russian collusion, the US has totally ignored the cooperation and good diplomatic success of this partnership in space. The US needs to embrace this as a starting point on a 30 year plan to become trading partners, as way to curb nuclear proliferation, and thwart Chinese threats to both countries and the world. A lack of long term policies by the US is why we can never move the ball on important issues to the longevity of the US. You don’t need to be any smarter than a rock to determine this. China’s long term plan is to ally with Russia, and they will do it where they share a border and in space.
Our strategy long term goes way beyond the tenures of Putin and Trump! The goal is for the United States to deter CHINA and to keep Russia from being an ally of China… Russia will need to be an ally of the United States.
